Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your handmade items! If something isn't quite right, we’re here to help. Please read our policy below and then contact us to get started.

A quick note on shipping costs: As a small, family-run business, we are unable to cover the costs of return or exchange shipping. Customers are responsible for all shipping fees (the original shipping to you, the return shipping back to us, and the shipping for any new items in an exchange, with the specific exception for exchanges noted below). Thank you for your understanding!

1. Eligibility for a Return or Exchange

We happily accept returns or exchanges on new, unworn, and unwashed merchandise within 14 days of the delivery date. Please inspect your items upon arrival, before they are worn or washed.

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Custom orders (including "customize your own" listings)

  • Underwear, trunks, and training pants

  • Diaper covers and liners

  • Laundry care items (soap, patch kits, etc.)

  • Any item that has been worn or washed

2. How to Start a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Contact Us First Please email us within the 14-day window to request a return authorization.

A Quick Note on Contacting Us: We promise we're not ignoring you! We reply to all inquiries within 2 business days. If you haven't heard from us, our spam filter might be working a little too well. Please send us a direct message on Instagram or Facebook.

Step 2: Ship Your Items Back Once your return is approved, we will create and email you a return shipping label and the necessary customs documents. Using our provided label ensures the package is properly coded as "Returned Goods" to minimize border delays.

Return & Exchange Shipping Costs:

  • For Returns: The exact cost of the return shipping label we provide will be deducted from your final refund. Please note: While we offer a discounted flat rate to ship items to you, return shipping reflects actual carrier rates and can be costly (typically ranging between $20 to $35+, depending on your location and the weight of the package).

  • For Exchanges: To make it fair, you cover the cost of shipping the original item back to us. In return, we will cover the economy shipping cost to send your new item out to you. (This courtesy applies only to items that are shipped back to us, not those dropped off locally.)

Your Part is Easy: Simply print the label and customs documents we send you, securely package your item, and drop it off at the designated courier's nearest location. Locals can contact us to arrange the exchange. We are in North Saanich, BC.

3. Refunds, Customs Duties, & Brokerage Fees

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund to your original method of payment. Please note that cross-border returns may take additional time to process due to customs.

  • Original Shipping: Original shipping fees from your order are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund total, along with the return shipping cost.

  • Duties & Taxes Are Non-Refundable: Any import duties and taxes collected at checkout are strictly non-refundable. These funds are remitted directly to your country's customs agency at the time of shipping and cannot be recovered by us. If you wish to claim a refund for duties on returned goods, you will need to contact your local customs authority directly with proof of your return.

  • Return Brokerage Fees: Occasionally, cross-border carriers (like UPS) charge administrative or brokerage fees to process the return back into Canada. If the carrier applies any brokerage fees or unexpected import charges to your return shipment, these will also be deducted from your final refund balance.

4. Returned-to-Sender Packages

If an order is returned to us by the carrier due to an incorrect address or multiple failed delivery attempts, we will treat it as a standard return.

  • For a Refund: We will refund the cost of your eligible items, minus the original shipping fee, the return shipping cost, and any return-to-sender or brokerage fees charged to us by the carrier.

  • To Reship: We are happy to send the order out again! You will be responsible for the actual shipping costs to resend the package.
