Mail-In Mending Service (TK Clothing Items Only)

Give Your Gear a Second Life We love merino wool because it’s a beautifully natural, breathable, and eco-friendly fiber. However, because it is a natural material—and not a synthetic plastic—it naturally wears down over time, especially when adventurous kids are playing hard!

When those inevitable snags, holes, or worn knees happen, don't toss your gear away. Let’s keep your garments out of the landfill. Send your well-loved TK Clothing pieces back to our studio, and we will apply our custom patches to get them back in rotation.

Setting Expectations: Every repair is unique! Because mending depends heavily on the size of the hole, the location of the tear, and how the surrounding fabric has worn, we cannot guarantee "perfect" or invisible results. We use our visible patch kits to fix the structural integrity of the garment. It won't look brand new, but it will have a ton of unique character and be ready for more play.

How to Order Your Mending:

• Step 1: Add Labor. Add this Mending Service to your cart. Adjust the quantity to match the number of items you are sending us. (e.g., Need 2 t-shirts patched? Change the quantity to 2).

• Step 2: Choose Your Materials. Browse our Patch Kits or Repair Fabric listings and add your desired colors to your cart. (Usually, you'll need 1 kit per garment. If you have two items with very small holes and want the same color used for both, 1 kit is plenty!) Unsure? Just ask us! 

• Step 3: Checkout. Your cart will calculate your upfront total: your mending labor + your chosen patch materials + the return shipping to get it back to you.

• Step 4: Mail It In. Mail your freshly washed garments to:

  You are responsible for the postage to get the items to our studio. 

• International Shipping Note (Outside Canada): If you are mailing your garments from outside of Canada, please be aware that customs or brokerage fees may apply. If we are charged a fee to receive your package, you will be billed for that exact amount before your items are returned. (Pro Tip: To help avoid surprise border fees, clearly mark your customs form as "Used clothing for repair - $0 commercial value")
  
  

• Step 5: We Wait for Your Package. Your order status will remain "Unfulfilled" while we wait for your items to arrive. Once they get here, please allow 1-2 weeks for us to work our mending magic before we ship them back.

Important: For the health and safety of our studio, all items must be freshly laundered before mailing. If a garment arrives unwashed, it will be returned to you un-mended.
