Notes: If kids are close to the end of a range it is usually better to go up a size. If you have a wider foot, the range shortens, and the starting point for the next size shifts down. For instance - a youth with a WIDE foot, and size 6 US shoe size, can fit comfortably in a Adult S/M size, as the width of the foot shortens the Large size's range, and shifts the Adult S/M starting point more like a Men's 6. Calf sizes differ from kids to adult sizes, and with type of socks. Refer to chart for approximate calf size at maximum stretch. Colour Coding can be found at top of toe. And may not be noticeable unless you stretch it a bit.
