General Questions

What is the sizing for your products?

All of our sizing is unisex and gender-neutral. We believe clothing should be for everyone, and we have designed our pieces to fit a wide range of body types. You can find a detailed size chart for each item on its product page.

I'm confused about the sizing. What is the difference between a kids size and an adult size?

Our sizing is a fairly linear progression. After our largest youth size (size 12), the next size is typically an Adult XS. Occasionally, a listing might include a size 14. This is generally equivalent to an Adult XS but is often slightly shorter and designed for a youth fit. We use this designation for tax purposes on some items.

How do I find the right size?

You can find a link to a popup size chart on each product listing. If you notice a listing is missing a size chart, please let us know!

What's the best way to use the size chart?

The measurements on our size charts are for the garment itself, not body measurements. This gives you the most control over how you want the item to fit. We highly recommend measuring a similar favorite garment you already own and comparing those measurements to ours. This is an especially helpful method for children's clothing, as measuring a child can be tricky!

What is the difference between "Made to Order" and "Custom"?

A "Made to Order" item is a standard design that we make for you after you place your order. A "Custom" item allows you to choose the fabric, style, and other specifications to create a unique piece. You can find a more detailed explanation here.

The item I want says "Custom" in the title. What does that mean?

Items marked as "Custom" give you the freedom to choose your preferred style and fabric. The processing time for these items is listed on the product page and indicates the time it takes for us to create and process your item. Please be aware that all customizable items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Do you offer coupons or discounts?

Yes! When you first subscribe to our newsletter, you'll receive a one-time welcome coupon. We also have sales on select items throughout the year. The best way to stay informed about these promotions is to sign up for our newsletter, follow us on Instagram and Facebook, or enable push notifications from our website.

Can I use multiple discount codes or apply a code to a sale item?

No, we generally do not allow stacking discounts or using codes on top of sale items. The only exception is during our annual end-of-year sale, which is always explicitly stated.

Where can I find your products in person?

As a small, family-run business, we design and hand-make all of our products in Canada. We do not offer wholesale pricing to stores, as our focus is on high-quality, thoughtfully made pieces rather than mass production. You can find our products exclusively on our website and at select markets or events.

Product Care

Is your merino wool machine washable (Superwash)?

Yes, our merino wool is machine washable unless it is explicitly labeled ‘HW’ (Handwash Only). For machine-washable items, we recommend using a gentle cycle with a mild, residue-free detergent. You can tumble dry on low or no heat, or hang to dry—merino wool dries surprisingly fast! Hand washing is always the gentlest option for extending the life of your garment.

Items marked ‘HW’ are NOT Superwash and require extra care. They should be hand-washed to maintain their quality. We recommend using our Laundry Care products, which are pH-balanced and enzyme-free, to protect the wool fibers.

I'm new to cloth diapers. Can you help?

We've been through a few diapering journeys ourselves, so we understand it can be a learning curve! We are by no means experts, but we can share what has worked for us. We recommend starting with our Merino Wool Diaper Cover Care page. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Sourcing & Sustainability

Where do you source your merino wool fabric?

We source our merino wool from several different countries, including New Zealand (ZQ Merino & deadstock), Australia, Sweden, and the US. We are committed to finding the best fabrics from suppliers who uphold strong ethical and environmental practices.

What does it mean to be organic, and why is it important?

We use only Certified Organic Cotton fabric. This certification ensures that the fabric is free of harmful substances from the growing of the cotton to the final production stage. It also involves environmental, technical quality, human toxicity, and social criteria. All of our organic cotton is at least OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certified, with most being GOTS certified. You can find more details on GOTS here.
